Step 2: The KUBS Application |
You've been accepted through MIX and you've been nominated as a candidate for Korea University Business School! But, it doesn't end there!

Being nominated by MIX is certainly exciting news! But it doesn’t mean you got into the school just yet - to complete the application process for KUBS, you will need to fill out their online application form. My time filling out this application was the first time the entire application was conducted via an online platform - it made it quite convenient and easy! Here’s what to expect in the application:
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION
While this application isn’t as difficult to complete, you are only given a set amount of time from when the application opens to its closing to complete ALL requirements. With that said, I highly recommend starting the application the moment it is open.
Before I end this section, let me offer some tips for finishing this application:

Before I end this section, let me offer some tips for finishing this application:
- Like any application, start early. It takes time to process your transcript, to receive a recommendation letter, and to fill out the certificate of health. Don’t miss out on the application because you’re still waiting on these parts.
- The application only accepts PDF and JPG files; be ready to have a program that can scan your physical documents so you can upload them to the application.
- The deadline time is super important - they’re in Korea and we are in Hawaii. Be wary of the time difference when submitting the application as while it may be too late in Korean time.
- Don’t be afraid to reach out to the KUBS International Exchange advisor. I myself sought for assistance via email, and it has lessened my load immensely.
